i presonally dont have a problem wit char based HoM EXCEPT that minis are character customzied. seriously, wtf? i mean i know that rare minis will become even rarer but to make them cuzotmied per char? that blows.

i put minis in storage to use when im shifting chars in town. putting on 1 char seems massive fail.

Here's how I'd do it:
Each char that achieves something allows you to get one reward in GW2 on any character. If you have two KoaBD's and the reward for that is a lollipop, you get two lollipops. After claiming a reward the character could then put the lollipop back to the HoM if you wanted to move it to another GW2 char. In case of minipets, if you put a minipet reward back in the pet could be uncustomised in GW1, but the reward would be gone from GW2 side unless you re-added the pet to the monument in GW1.

I think they should still be tradeable. People are always going to find something to sell in this game. Why not let the people who enjoy minis have the ones they want, and people who think they are useless can make a few gold.

If they must be customized then they should be account based. I like the idea that they be like festival hats. I generally keep my pets in storage and trade them between characters. I don't need to as I have more pets than characters, but I like to have the pet with me that I choose. I think a pet customized per character is a terrible idea.

People are already leery of going from GW1 to 2. ANet needs to do their best to make it as painless as possible.

Minis stuck on one character = lame! I can understand customizing them so that you can't share them with other people but what could the harm be on the same account. Make it so that if its customized you can't add it to another characters hall, sure no problem.

I am signing this petition because I want a Retard of the Year award in the HoM!! At around 1 oclock in the morning after a long grueling day of playing GW:EN I acqired a tapestry that I used on the Devotion. I saw it was for mini pets and being a collector of mini pets I have every first and second year mini plus most of the pets that you get with CE's and mags. I thought this was the place where I could go to show off my pets and claim them as mine. With out reading the button for some odd unknown reason I proudly displayed my Mini Gwen, Mini Lich, Mini Water Djinn, and Mini Bone Dragon!! Only to drop my jaw afterwards and realize they were now customized to that character only. 1 million GW gold now lost for ever I can no longer sell if I choose to but WORST of all I can no longer display them on my other chars that I worked so hard to gain high end armor and weapons on. You've GOT to be KIDDING ME!! I appealed to ANET begging for them to reverse the customization and their reply was NO. They can't replace them. Or apparently roll back my account. But they did say... make petitions and post on fan sites and they will see what they could do about what fans say. And if we can come up with suggestions of HOW to undo it.

After playing this game for over two years, I hate to say it, but I feel their making Guild Wars worse...Almost every recent update I have yet to be happy about...

On topic now, after seeing only two people did NOT sign it, and not giving much to back up why they aren't...I'm definately signing, It should be account based, this is making it really limited. And I am quiet...let me put it in a polite way..."frustrated", about ALL of the HoM's monuments except Resilience...especially the Valor one, which doesn't even display PvE titles, which I've worked very hard for, OR account-wide titles, another point to this thread.

Minipets should be account-based. End of story. I have a small collection of them at this point, and all my characters play with them from time to time (they're usually in storage). I do NOT want them all stuck to Laura, and I refuse to buy 11 sets of minis. What was ANet thinking?
